Halloween Punch Recipes

halloween-punchNeed to liven up your Halloween party? Halloween is a great time to use a wide variety of fun and tasty punches to deliver just the right punch. Below you’ll find two recipes to get you started. The first is for adults and the second for the kiddies.

Punch With A Punch

What You’ll Need:

  • 4 Quarts Dry Apple Cider (must be dry, now sweet, or else substitute dry champagne)
  • 1 Fifth Orange Curacao
  • 1 Fifth Cognac
  • 1 Lemon

Directions:

1. Mix dry apple cider (or champagne), Orange Curacao, and Cognac. Cut lemon in half and add a squirt.

2. Fill gruesome punch glasses and sip slowly – very slowly – or the goblins’ll gitcha!

Serves 40

Punch For the Little Ones

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 Quart Apple Cider
  • 1 Quart Orange Juice
  • ¾ Cup lemonade
  • 1 Pint Cranberry Juice
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • ¾ Cup Sugar
  • Slices of Orange and Lemon

Directions:

1. Add all juices to a large (30 cup) coffee percolator. In the coffee basket, place the spices and sugar. Perk gently until the flavors meld.

2. Pour into punchbowl and float that orange and lemon slices.

3. If the adults want in on this tasty treat, 1 quart of rum may be added.

Serves 20
