When looking for Halloween scrapbook ideas, you should first decide what it is you want your page to look like. There is no steadfast rule as to how your scrapbook pages should look. They should simply show your own creativity. But if you are looking for some Halloween scrapbook ideas to get you started, here are a couple of suggestions.
First, make your scrapbook page a themed page. For example, center a page around your child’s Halloween costume. If your daughter is dressed as a princess, you may want to theme your page around not only her costume but tie all of the components of the page toward a princess motif. Title the page something like “So much like a princess, it’s scary” and then do the page in pink and purple colors. Or, if your little one is dressed as a lion, you may want to title your page “So Cute – No Lion!” and then decorate the page with lion pictures and brown and orange colors.
Another great scrapbook idea for Halloween is to focus on a specific event. Did you make a trip to the local pumpkin patch? Use various colors of orange along with pictures and pumpkin cut-outs. Include snippets about the trip memorializing what you did, what you saw, how you felt, etc. Title the page “Pumpkins, pumpkins, everywhere” or something along those lines.
You may also consider a scary theme for a page. Here you would focus on scary things like ghosts and scary faces. Using pictures of yourself, family or friends, use a haunted house as a background with the scary faces in the windows. You can even make it a “peep” house where you have to lift a flap on the window to see the picture. The possibilities are endless and limited only by how creative you want to be.
For great Halloween scrapbook ideas, just think about what message you want to convey with your scrapbook page. Then go for it and make a page you can be proud of!
