catwomanThe letter “S” no longer stands for Superman or Scary on Halloween. There is a whole new section at your local or favorite Halloween store for sexy Halloween costumes. Now this is more than your classic French maid costume. We’re talking “hot looks” from pirate themes to blood-sucking vampires. And this year, retailers predict that sexy female cop costumes will be a big hit.

My pick, however, for the sexy Halloween costume of the year is Catwoman. Sexy and mysterious, this is the purrfect costume with a bit of flair. And the look is fairly easy to achieve.

The Basics: Dress in a black top and pants (vinyl or leather is best). Find some black stiletto boots to give yourself that long, feline look. A pair of thigh high patent leather boots would be even better.

Accessories: In addition to the clothes and shoes, you’ll need a few accessories. Long black fake nails, a whip and a pair of black cat ears will do. A mask that covers your eyes is preferred to add that element of mystique. Meow.

If you are doing couples costumes, combine Catwoman with Batman.

For the traditional Batman look, a gray bodysuit or something close will do for the clothes. Accessorize with black gloves, black boots, a black cape, a yellow utility belt and a black half face mask with felt years attached. Lastly, make sure the famous bat emblem is across the chest.

The popular Batman Dark Knight costume is a great alternative and nicely combines with the sexy Catwoman Halloween costume.
